So far we are having a very difficult time not keeping ALL of Iron River's colts here at Castrol. Imperior is no exception: very powerful, tons of talent, and with just enough snort to keep his rider awake.
Imperior is coming along very nicely in his training and competition. After receiving high marks at his Stallion Performance Test, Imperior continues to impress us with his natural abilities and trainability. Ryan is always taking bets around the barn that he and Imperior will gain the highest scores at any upcoming event, and it's gotten to the point that no one wants to bet against them!
We are so excited to see this promising young stallion mature into the kind of breeding sire Castrol hopes to one day be known for.

Iron River has never let us down, earning premium title after title at every evaluation and even we have taken him to. It is no wonder he has done so well with two superb bloodlines. His sire is the #1 sire of Premium foals in the Oldenburg Verband, and his dam is the producer of the highest rated Oldenburg mare of all time. His foals are sweeping premium awards internationally and continuing his legacy of outstanding success up to FEI **** Eventing and top level Stadium Jumping.
Dam to five Class I and one Diploma rated foal, Tonks has already proven herself a high quality breeding mare. Her show career is nothing to be ashamed of, either. We are looking forward to her impressive pedigree continuing on in Castrol's own competition string.
